Methodology, how this data is verified
Every jurisdiction page is built from primary sources, meaning the regulator's own site, the official register, and the gambling law itself. Nothing is taken from casino sites, affiliate reviews, or forums.
Sourcing rules
- Each fact links to the official page it came from, with the date we last opened it.
- Register links point at the search page itself, never at a description of it.
- Every linked URL is fetched and confirmed live before publication.
- Where a jurisdiction has no register, we say so plainly instead of substituting a third-party list.
Brand data, straight from the registers
Brand pages are generated from the official registers themselves. Where a regulator publishes bulk data, the UKGC, Sweden and the Isle of Man, we download it. Where the register is a public list or search, Gibraltar, Kahnawake, Denmark, Alderney, the German whitelist and the Curacao CGA register, we read it entry by entry. Brands are matched to register entries by the operator's domains, never by name guessing. Registers we cannot read in bulk are stated as gaps on every brand page rather than papered over.
A register entry is not automatically a valid license. The Curacao register, for example, returns some domains with a Certificate of Operation the authority itself marks not valid. Those are recorded as a separate state, never merged into the licensed set, and the brand page says which register reported it.
Update cadence
Register data is re-fetched daily and every change lands as a tracked revision, so a licence that lapses shows up the next morning. Jurisdiction guides carry a last-verified date and are re-checked monthly. Regulatory reforms, such as Curacao's transition to the CGA regime, are reflected as regulators publish them.
What this site is not
This is a reference for verification, not legal advice and not a gambling recommendation. A license describes oversight, it does not guarantee that an operator treats players well. Rules differ by country, so always check what applies where you live.
