About Casino License Check

Casino License Check helps people and AI assistants check whether a casino holds a real gambling licence. Type a casino name or web address and the answer comes from the regulator's own register, with the date we read it. The project is free and open, and WhiteLobby builds and runs it.

Built on a knowledge graph

Every register we read goes into our knowledge graph, where each licence, licence holder, web address and regulator is a connected record. Every record follows the same rules.

• Proof. Each fact links to the official page it came from.
• Dates. Each record carries the date we read it, plus the licence dates the regulator publishes.
• History. Since 1 August 2026 we keep a daily copy of every register, so any change to a licence can be traced to the day it happened.
• Provenance. A record changes only when the regulator's own register changes. An operator's word, a press report or an AI answer is never a source.
• Quality checks. A register that fails to load, or suddenly loses records, never replaces the last good copy.

New casinos, spotted in the registers

Because we keep the history of every register, we can tell when a casino is really new. Each day we compare a register with everything it has shown us before. A licensed web address it lists for the first time goes on our weekly list of new online casinos, with its licence holder and a link to check it at the source. The list also shows whether the address belongs to a new licence holder or was added to a licence the register already showed. A casino that only calls itself new does not make the list, only a register entry does.

What decides a listing

Only the regulator's register. No operator pays to appear or to be left out, and WhiteLobby clients get the same treatment as everyone else. We publish no ratings, reviews or bonus offers, and we do not link to casinos as affiliates.

Why we build it in the open

Our client work is under NDA, so we cannot show it. This site is the work we can show. It runs on the methods we use for clients, collecting data from official sources, keeping it in a knowledge graph with full provenance, and publishing it in a form AI assistants can read and cite.

The full dataset is free as JSON at /api/jurisdictions.json, with a source link and a date for every record.

Privacy

The site sets no cookies and runs no tracking scripts. We record the words typed into the search, with the number of results, to see which casinos people look for. Nothing identifies the person who searched.
